Just went downstairs to find my rubber carboy top had popped off. I was finished and ready to bottle tomorrow. It was only exposed to air for about 8 hours... Am I in trouble??

Just cracked my first bottle of Cheeky Monkey Cab/Merlot/Garnacha. After a month it is decent, can't wait to try it again in a month. Thx for the suggestion Rayway! Starting another Vintners Reserve Diablo Rojo right away. It was a huge hit.

Make that NOT PERFECTLY CLEAR! i have a legacy pinot Grigio ready to bottle, but its not perfectly clear. It tastes great, but a slight bit cloudy. Should I wait, or who cares??

I totally agree with the Goo Gone comment. I found it at Home Depot for $5.49. I fill my bottles with hot water and soak them in a 5gal pail overnight, scrape off the label. If the glue doesn't release, Goo Gone works very easily every time so far for me.

Heat belt I have two kits going at once and only one heating belt. I have tries to wrap the two carboys with the one belt but it doesn't fit. My question is, is it better to have it on the red or white? If it doesn't matter, then does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can give heat to both...
