specific gravity was 1.080 and now is 1.000 smells slightly sour i think it went bad. does anybody have recipe for ice wine grape? my son wants to try to make it and cant find recipe anywhere thanks for all of your help

I racked my watermelon wine for the first time 2 weeks ago and bubbling slow every 2 to three minutes and has a white sediment on bottom. is this typical of watermelon wine cause my grape did not have it.?

well actually today it is bubbling great but still worried about specific gravity as it was 1.080 when i racked it and not sure if should add some yast nutrient

watermelon well i hope its ok as i said earlier it was suggested that i put it in the fridge to prevent spoilage and i know it was below 50 degrees

the recipe called for champagne yeast

Can i use a beer hygrometer for wine ? my son broke mine! (gotta love kids LOL)Anyway the only store in my area is sold out except beer hygrometer... they have the same readings as my old one but its only about half the the size. I'm affraid that if i wait till later next week for a shipment...
