I will be traveling to Boston in a week and I'd like to bring a few bottles of my wine with me. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there a maximum amount that I can bring? Any thing change because it is wine that I've made myself?
I while ago Nestea had a crazy promotion where each box of cans came with a coupon for another box of cans. It's a little sweet for me but tasty enough... it is now a year since the promotion and I still have over 30 gallons of the stuff. It occurred to me that it might make a fun "wine".

haha, I saw "budget friendly" and thought of this one... http://www.dx.com/p/0-6-lcd-ph-test-pen-set-3-ag13-42734#.UzzrUFcvnDM
I think you and I have different budgets! :)
I can buy new 6 gallon Italian carboys here in Alberta for $25. They seem to go for 15-20 used but can be had for 10. Pricing seems to vary a lot with these things!
I was thinking of getting a kegging system to force carbonate some prosecco I have coming and apple cider this fall. Gassing up this DB on purpose could be fun :)

That's how I took it as well. An unlicensed individual is not allowed to sell alcoholic beverages here. Offering to sell the bottles (that just happen to still be full) is clearly a thinly veiled attempt to skirt that law. He'll probably go unnoticed.

Somewhat creative how this guy is selling his wine...
I believe that the word foil implies metal composition by definition but clarifying is good :D. Especially when our plastic shrink caps usually have a metal foil component on the end.
I'm going to dissect some metal foil capsules on some commercial bottles I'm de-labeling. Will report back if I...
Well, I dumped all of the bottles back into the carboy and airlocked without adding anything. It's now been a week, SG is steady and I don't get any bubble action under vacuum. The flavour is good and I feel pretty good about bottling this time :D
I don't really see anything when I look but I...
