Thank you all. I did have a good day. I got to open some good wine and share it with family. It doe snot get beeter than that. I made a MM Ren Armorne 18 months ago just for this birthday. I must say it did not disappoint me.

No that does not sound like what I smell/taste. I have made this kits several times and never had this problem. I guess the only way to discribe it is "old" or wine going bad. I know that does not help much.

Yes there is a smell as well as a taste. Yes it came with an F pack and I did use the potassium sorbate that came with the kit. I don't know how to discribe the taste/smell

I added the cabernet pack. I plan on adding more oak than the 30 grams that came with the kit. This is my second time I have used a crush grape pack I have to say, take the seeds out and give me some bread and peanut butter. Yummmmmm

I don't have a filter yet. But it is faters day and I have not gotten anything from te kids yet. Well they are under 6 so I am guessing that they will not be giving a wine filter to me. But they may suprise me. Happy fathers day!!!!

Bottled this kit the other day. I am suprised that the last three kits that I have done. 2 CC showcase and a VN Chianti all have labels in them. They may not be the personal labels that I like but they are nice. Better then nothing. Are all kits comming with labels now?
