Has anybody made this kit? How was/is it *really*?

Hi Bob,
better than you'd expect, I added oak and cherry concentrate. I'm ordering two more, doing one the same as before. Doing the second one as 5 gallon batch, adding tannin, more oak and no cherry or sweetness. I had requests and sent 3 bottles home with friends at thanksgiving and the wine is only about 4 months old yet.

In the last weeks I've already purchased 3 WE VR kits; Chilean Malbec, Australian Shiraz and Sangiovese. I'm going to wait and see how I like these before I invest more cash (and more importantly, time) in this line.

If I had already done some of these and liked them, then I would try a different one in the same line.

Not to mention I've also picked up 2 Winery Series and a Showcase as well.

Too many kits and not enough carboys as it is!

I made it a few months ago as my first kit and it was amazing. I'll be making another batch again soon. I'm not wine expert, but all of my friends loved it, and keep asking for another bottle. At this rate I'll be out before the next batch is complete.
