I can't remember where I ordered them from, (old age?), but the rubber stoppers drilled for air locks that I have are giving off a STRONG rubber odor/taste. I soaked them in a campden solution before use to sterilize, but I've got some otherwise very good wines that are picking up this godawful taste/aroma. Anybody else have this problem?

Try some "oxy" cleaners.
or,

Stoppers are cheap enough buy new ones. It's not worth the trouble sometimes to fix the problem.

Actually, these are "new ones". Now, where do I go to find something usable?

Since the stoppers don't really touch the wine I am not sure how you can get the odor into the wine.

It may be something else. Make sure the fermentor is clean and sanitized.

An old fix that I would only use in a dire emergency is to put a ballon over the neck of the carboy with a small hole in it.

This should be OK till you get a replacement stopper.
