Hi all,

So I'm fermenting some red wine from marquette grapes on the skins, but I picked too many to fit in the primary vessel I'm using (vitner's best big bucket). Most of the wine and all of the skins are in the bucket, but it was too much to fit all in there without overflowing, especially during fermentation.

I put the remaining wine in a large erlenmeyer flask, and covered it with foil. Yeast was pitched into both vessels.

Fermentation is quite active now, my question is, is there any issue with combining these wines when I go for secondary fermentation? I know the wines will be quite a bit different given one is off the skins. I imagine after pressing out all this might fit in one carboy.

Thanks in advance!
