Hungarian Oak Barrels

I have 3 HO Barrels I haven't used in about a year. I use mostly all oak chips. The barrels have been filled with water and sulfite. I want to use one of them, so my question is. Do I have to do anything to the barrels before using them? Like use Barrel Kleen or some kind of treatment prior to filling with one of my reds?
