how much for a gallon

I only do one gallon batches. I have three one gallon batches of concord that I would like to oak. If I missed it I am sorry to be redundant but how much should I start with for a gallon jug. The chips are medium toast american. I see that people start with 2 oz for 5 or 6 gallons but I cant seem to figure out what that would be for a gallon. Thanks

I would start with 1/2 oz for a gallon batch.

If you have no scales Anne just count the number of cubes in the bag and divide by 32..That will get you close enough

I weighed out 1/4 cup (level) of chips and it is 1/2 oz.
