After reading several recipes, focusing on cranberry, strawberry and apple, all of the recipes tell you to cop, and drain the fruits. I'm wondering if I were to puree my fruits in a food proccesser then strain through a fine bag or nylon hose.Is this workable able or does this create different problems. I realise alot of the recipes are old/ tried and true, written before some of our modern appliances were available. Thanks .

Redder - The food processor is a great tool for fruit prep. Just try squashing
cranberries by hand, then run some throught the processor, and you'll see
what a good job it does breaking open the fruit. Put the processed fruit in a
strainer bag, pour any resulting juice in the fermenting pail, add your other
ingredients and you are ready to ferment (well, follow the recipe directions)
