Miniature? That thing is bigger than some swimming pool DE filters I've seen! I suspect it does a fine job of filtering just about anything liquid.

OK, but prior to finding this filter the only other type of DE filter for winemaking I was familiar with was this type: http://thevintnervault.com/index.php?p=view_product&product_id=4663

Which is obviously much, much larger. So to me, this one is miniature. I'm not familiar with swimming pool filters.
