These are Syrah grapes from four plants in Chico, California. They were started from root stock, four years ago. Last year's harvest was small, but healthy and yielded about four gallons of drinkable wine. This year, the yield was substantially greater, I anticipated about 12-15 gallons of wine. But in early August, the fruit, which had been doing fine, took a turn for the worst.

These pictures were taken about two weeks ago. I harvested and tested the fruit to keep it from dropping and making a mess: brix-23.0, ph-4.6, ta-6.5. Based on the 2012 healthy crop, I did not think about disease until it was too late. I'm guessing dusty mildew, but I'm not sure. Advice appreciated.

You guessed it. Powdery mildew, mold. A regular spray schedule of sulfur is what you need to start. It's to late for this years crop. (Obviously) Do some googling and find a good sulfur spray. Follow instructions!
