I was given a bottle of Barbara wine, from a friend who visited a Napa Valley
winery. (forget the name but it would be difficult to forget the wine, it was
excellent)Is anyone making a kit that would match?

I see a Barbara Syrah blend and a Barbarescu onGeorge's site. Are these
similar or am I likely to be disappointed?

The Barbaresco is the comparable kit. I will want you that this kit needs a year to age, but it is well worth the wait.

This is kind of off the subject of the Barbara wine but made me think of wine names...... How aboutjust--------YN !

It is actually very nice! A simple basic California Red! It's fun to offer someone some YN!

I'm at the point with my cellar that I can probably let something age a year
without too much difficulty.

That is wine speak for "I have enough now not to have to start drinking it
while bottling."

Would you bulk age for about 6 months and then bottle?
