I got a couple 6 gallon bags last spring, worked good for dragon blood. Will use some more when I do the wine for my sisters wedding next year, a lot less time than bottles. Don't think I would use them for long term storage.

I researched bags once. What I remember are:

1) One time use. So not any cheaper than reusable bottles over time. 8 3-liter bags is the same as 32 bottles. cheap corks are $15 for 100.

2) I compare to cheap corks because bags are not good for long-term storage.

3) Great if you drink wine slowly so that air does not spoil the wine.

4) A lot of people complained about spilling when trying to get the spigot on.
