9% zin??

My zin reads 9% alc..will this spoil? i used campden tablets and plan on giving it some more campden tablets before bottling...i mean its only in secondary fermenting stage..i racked once already, i plan on racking on nov 11th then rack maybe 1 more time then bottling...will this stay at 9%??..it taste ok..:D
 
I presume you got this from your hydrometer pre fermentation. At 9% your wine if sulfited enough and containing enough tannin and of adequet acid/ph and is corked good it will fair okay as far as aging short term. Don't expect it to be good in 10 years.

Keep it in a cool dark non vibration area.

Most reds I make are at 12%. You could make your zinfandel 10 1/2-11% if you are looking for a lighter ABV
