    Haze in Chardonnay

    Did you heat stabilize the wine with some bentonite. I'd try 2-4 pounds per 1,000 gallons vitaben, settle it out for at least 36 hours (preferably 1-2 weeks) and then rack it off. That should get rid of the hazing if it's a protein issue.

    It's probably too late now but I would've done the tartaric addition pre-AF. Other than that I agree with everything said up until this point.

    Barrel labeler?

    Thanks. Picture please Thanks for the replys everyone. In Oregon we have a fairly high relative humidity all the time so painters tape won't work long term. Could you guys post a photo (Runningwolf and Rocky)?

    Barrel labeler?

    HI everyone. I'm looking for a labeler to use on my barrels. Something that produces labels that are water resistant and will stick on wood and/or metal.
