    Favorite Muscadine Varieties?

I keep trying to propagate wild ones. No luck from seed. I have a few I've managed to keep alive for over a year by pulling vines up & making a cutting near a root. They're very slow growing compared to comm. varieties. None have produced yet. I hope I have self-fertile vines. I try to get...

Thanks for all the welcomes! WAG if you're on Bistineau I'm just off 527 on Pine Hill Rd. Come on over, that's my pond on the road. James, if you went to Tech with Terry, you're probably a youngster.

    Muscadine Juice

$10 per gal of juice sure would save my back instead of picking them myself - but then what would I do with all the musc on my vines? Could leave them for the deer I guess! A source like that around here would be nice, but Jackson is too far. Oh well!

    Price For Muscadine

LAgreeneyes. There are about two dozen varieties of commercial muscadine, between reds, bronzes, and blacks. I prefer blacks and have 9 varieties; plus six varieties of reds planted. None of them will give you anywheres near the muscadine flavor of a wild muscadine. Luckily I have tons of...

Tks Oldwhiskers. I've been winemaking for years but took a long hiatus with med problems. Thinking of starting again with the vineyard producing.
