I have been out of the WMT loop for awhile. People have really been enjoying the wine I have made so far. I've had a request for a strawberry wine. I want to make this from a kit. Any suggestions?? I want something crisp and not too sweet.

Anyone watch Doomsday Preppers?? I just watched an episode where a man is stocking up on homemade wine. He has over 500 bottles in his hidden cellar. He feels that wine will be a good use for trade a bartaring when currency is worthless. Pretty interesting!
Happy Easter! This is my first holiday that I am able to share my wine with friends and family. They love it and wow, it goes fast!!! I need to remember this and stock up for upcoming holidays and gatherings!
I just noticed the type of wine. I have the same one in a carboy right now! How does it taste? I'm going to try to hold off bottling for another couple months.
Thanks! The first time I made this was in the winter and my home was a lot cooler. This time it's much warmer in my home soI think that's why theres a lot more action! I was just worried I'd lose some yeast when taking out some liquid. But there should be plenty of yeasties in there :)
Hello! I started 2, 1 gallon batches of Apfelwein this morning. I think I filled the carboys up a little high. The foam is starting to get into the airlock. Should I extract some of the liquid from the carboy or just let it be?

I just thought of something....would any preservatives in the jam be keeping it from fermenting down to where it should? I didn't pay attention to the ingredients.
Stabilize
What should I add to stabilize before back-sweetening and how much for 6 gallon carboy? How long should I wait after adding the stabilizing before I sweeten?
