Thanks Robie! So should I rack again in 8 days also? So i need to get 2 new Carboys?? Also.. By doing the rack after stabilizing it, am I putting the wine in danger?? Or do people sometime do this? Thanks for your help!!!

Robie. It is still in secondary. i think better bottles fill to the top. If I can get one of those should I stabalize then rack it to the new carboy or stabalize then rack? I am doing a WE kit.

what if I can find a true 6 gallon carboy... Do i rack before or after stabalization?

Dosent saty... They were all in a box... 6 gallons 23L.. Advertised as 6 gallions so I am assuming they are all 6 gallons. Earlier posts say they do not make true 6 gallons anymore and I have a new "Italian" carboy which are usually over 6 gallons.

Hey guys.... I have a stags Leap Merlot in secondary right now and the 6 gallons of wine does not go all the way to the top on the carboy?? I bought it thinking it was a 6 gallon.. Do I have a 6.5 Gallon? The reason I am concerned is because when I stabalize it and rack it to a new carboy...

Are they 6.5 gallon carboys then?? Are you tranfering them to a 6 gallon on stabilization?
