    Ok, I normally use the cote de blanc yeast for this recipe I have now made twice. I thought about using lavlin ec 1118 to make a batch as it seems those batches are done faster than the other ones I have made. Any suggestions?

    Sold at a store, the one that is 1% I may have to call and ask them to see what they use exactly, they just told me it has 1% preservatives. Thanks for all the help

    Im asking if a cider that comes from a local orchard that has either a preservative ratio of 1% or 1/10 of a percent of preservatives is that too much to make a hard apple cider as I dont know whats a significant amount. It comes pre preserved? Im not asking about adding any lol. I just cant...

    Im reading about a "Hard Apple Cider" that a user on here named "Monica" makes, she says no preservatives in the cider, but as I have been looking around the town I can only find 1% preserved and another I believe to say 1/10 of a % preserved. I need to know if it has to bee 100% nonpreserved...

    I want to know, as I havent been on here for sometime as work is so busy with so many new buildings going up, what If i switch to a faster working yeast so it takes less time to be done. Will it change the flavor any, or am I asking dumb ? lol

    Ok I racked into a carboy today, Im not gnna backsweeten it all to see how it comes out. The taste now is tart yet sweet on the back side, so seems to be its gonna taste great

    Ok its slowly going down now which is good. Its down to 1.024 so its moving slowly, but surely. I was worried there for a bit, but looks as if its back on track. Gonna be racking into carboy in the next week I assume.
