    I paid like $10 , he said sometimes it shaves them sometimes it doesn't . I'm good at fixing stuff , I just wanted to hear if someone had the same problem and what they did before I dive in .

    I bought a second hand corker and some equipment off a gentleman . He said it works but sometimes it shaves a piece of the cork off . I tried it and yes it does . Do these things have any kind of adjustment on them ? Mines green but looks similar to the picture

    I ate a few young coconuts last week, and you get a pint of juice from each one pretty much. Around $2.50 a coconut , I was wondering if it would be possible to make a gallon of wine out of these ?

    Thank you very much for that information it sounds a lot different of a process than buying a wine kit at the superstore. Should I just leave it in the primary for now or should I pour it into the jug with airlock

    Can someone explain the next step and amounts of product I need please ? I checked the gravity this morning after 6 days of formenting. It was reading 1.040 . It looks like red pea soup. I will filter it into a 1 gallon glass jug . What is next ?

    I hope I did this right .....so we smushed all the grapes and squeezed/filtered as much juice as we could. Poured it into my primary fermenter, poured the yeast and closed the lid.     How long does sodium meta bisulphite last in a spray bottle?

    I usually make up,a spray bottle full and spray tools and stuff, I'm wondering if I could store what's left or do I just throw it away each time ?

    Thanks a lot, I definitely won't be using that idea. Wonder if I run the bottles through the dishwasher , dry on heat cycle then pour it into the bottles. Hot sauce can sit in the fridge for years without going bad . ( I used to collect it) . I'm just being over cautious .

    Are these corks gonna blow?

    I followed the instructions to a "T" and de gassed like crazy , stirring multiple times per day. I even gave it a 10 day extra rack before bottling it . Maybe it is the crazy corker....And thanks for the twist cap advice, wont be using them anymore
