    What about caps? So you can put wine in a beer bottle but use a cap instead?

    I recently read where you could use beer bottles to put wine in, by using caps. My question is can you use corks instead of caps or do they make a cork that size?

    I have been reading about topping off the carboy after racking and I was wondering how far on the carboy do you fill it up to? Up to the shoulder or where the neck begins? Just wouldn't want to leave to much room or have a big mess to clean up.

    Although I'm new to the forum, but I have made a couple batches of Blueberry wine the way my Grandpa made it. It turned out pretty decent but I want to try it with the up-to-date methods. So I will have plenty of questions and glad to be here. :db
