    Wheat Wine

I think I will pick up a few pounds of wheat next time I'm at my local brew shop and give this a shot.

    Wheat Wine

DFW, I have wondered the same thing, I would think that you would end up with the same result? Sounds like it may be worth a try.

Well, I'm really glad to hear that I'm not alone on this one. Thanks for all the replies.

    What's my problem?

Okay, guess I will wait it out. Did you leave it in the primary bucket or rack it to secondary???

    What's my problem?

Wine related, my wife tells me the rest of my problems. Okay, I thought this was a fluke till it happened again. I made 3 gallons of strawberry wine, I took the recipe off Jack Keller's site and multiplied everything but the yeast by 3. Fermentation took forever, last time I checked, it...

    Apple Cider Wine?

Thanks for all the input. I have made apple wine from regular juice before and it was a big hit, I sweetened it in the end with juice concentrate and it was awesome! Looking forward to trying this with fresh cider, I'll update as I go.<?:namespace prefix = o ns =...

    Beer Kegging Systems

Thanks fellas, each keg holds 5 gallons, there is a 5# CO2 tank in there behind the kegs. It's a more expensive way to go but I am really happy with it.

    Been a while....

Thanks everyone. I think making the beer in between wine has given me the patience, or at least kept me busy so I can forget about the wine and let it age a bit. Anyway, I will try to keep up on my progress with my up comming Raspberry, cherry and blueberry wines....

    Been a while....

Hey everyone! Been a while since my last post. I haven't made much wine lately but I opened a bottle of my grapefruit wine tonight and I thought I'd share my enthusiasm with those who can understand. <?:namespace prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml"...

    Baron’s Kits

Congrats! I love making beer almost as much as wine, I think the reason I like the beer so much is because I can drink it in a lot less time. Good luck and enjoy!

    Stabilizing & Sweetening

Nope, not filtering, If I had a filter I might. I just finished up all of my wine tasks for the day. I stabilized 2 gallons of cherry wine, stabilized a gallon of clementine wine, racked a gallon of banana (which, by the way, tastes excellent!) and racked 3 gallons of grapefruit wine. Been a...
