Well, here is the update. On the Petite Syrah, the wire did the trick. The wine has wonderful fruity nose with no sulfur. On the Zin, the wire lessened but did not eliminate it. So I put in 5.8 grams for 6 gallons and waited 72 hours per the directions and the sulfur smell is gone! saved a good batch of Zin. Now its off to YAN school as I am crushing my own harvest today.
