That same sticky snow really hammered us on Tuesday. I’m on day-three with no power and no anticipated restoration date! Luckily I have a small generator to keep the freezer frozen and provide water.

Day four and still no electricity! They are saying everything should be restored by Saturday night… we’ll see.

We ended up with 11 inches of snow. It’s melting fast, and with the rain was more than 3” of water. It’s beautiful out today.

Why not go with granite? More expensive, yes. But looks really nice and takes a lot more abuse than laminate.
