    Strawberry Rockett Fuel

So how do you get an accurate SG reading when there is this much pulp? My hydrometer sticks where ever I put it.

    Strawberry Rockett Fuel

I completely filled the bucket to the top with pulp. Almost 6.5 gallons.

    Strawberry Rockett Fuel

Just hand crushed 70LB of strawberries. Last year started with half and added to it. Going to go all juice this year. Happy spring! :d

Other Is there a similar kit to this?

Do you know if there is a similar kit to Louis M. Martini Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. We've been enjoying a couple bottles of the 2009. Thanks!

    Strawberries

So for my strawberry batch I've got about 4-4.5 gals just about cleared. I couldn't help myself. I added about a gallon or so of water and some sugar. What I've got now is lightly strawberry flavored rocket fuel! It's at about 20% or so. Ha! Color is a beautiful red. I also ended up making a...

    WineXpert Fast Ferment

So I just started the Selection Estate Washington Columbia Valley Riesling on Wed. My first reading was 1.080 today it's .996. The kit says to transfer to the carboy and wait for it to get to .996, about 10 days. Since it's already ,there do I skip those 10 days altogether or let it sit at...

    First Batch

So I just sweetened my first batch with 4 cans of Welches White grape/Raspberry. I started it with a Grand Cru Malbec slurry. I have to say I'm impressed! I can see what all the fuss is over. This will be a fun spring/summer. Thanks! :try

    Newbie from Richmond, VA

Just racked my WE Shiraz/Malbec to add the meta, sorbate, clearing and extra oak. Gotta say this looks better then the first one I did (Grand Cru International Malbec) in every way. Not sure what happened to that one. It's bottled so we'll see what happens but this one looks way better. It'll be...

    WineXpert Next kit to make

Thanks, what are some better brands. I'm still new and working on my second kit which is a WE Chilean Malbec Shiraz with Grape Skins. I like the heavier reds and not sure what to try next.

    WineXpert Next kit to make

Thanks, it's probably is very good. 3rd out of 100 for 2011 doesn't sound too shabby to me. On the other hand I'm not looking for a thinner wine either. The one I'm working on now comes with skins but haven't had a chance to taste it yet. If there's a great red kit out there with or without...

    WineXpert Next kit to make

Hey all, I was looking around for my next kit to make and saw this one on the WE website: WE Ultra Premium - Lodi Ranch 11 Cabernet Sauvignon. Says Best in Show. Has anyone made this one yet or have any recommendations? Thanks!
