They added the kit category several years ago. My friends and I that went entered some of our wines in that category and they never announced the winners that night. It seems they don't think it's real wine! Now I enter my wines in the regular categories! I will be there again this year.

Anyone going to Corrado's Competition this month? We have a party of 20 of us going, most of us will be arriving in a limo so we can drink on the way down!! I am entering 10 wines, 6 liqueur's and 5 labels. This is always a good time, plenty to eat and drink with great friends.

Mix the Cosmo and colada together, its really good that way!! I also used that cat label and won a gold for it at winemakers label competition.

I've made several Lounge kits, I really like the Long Island Iced Tea! But the best one I did was make the Cosmo and the Pina Colada kits and mix them together for a Cosmo Colada. The cranberry takes some of the sweetness out of the colada and it is just amazing. It looks just like pink...

I have made a few of the Diamonte ports and I always degassed them. I didn't even notice in the directions it doesn't mention it, I have made so many kits I barely look at the 'destructions' anyway!! Love the Chocolate Strawberry Port, try making a milkshake with it, YUMMY!!!!!

Yeah, no meads, I wanted to enter mine this year as well. They just do wines and distilled spirits (Grappa and Liqueuers).

Whats everyone's take on Advintage kits? I have made some Diamonte's and I know its the same company but I want to see what others think about the other lines. I do like the Late Harvest Pinot Noir and Chocolate Strawberry Ports I've made.
