    Morning all, I have one gallon of Concord juice mixed with 1/2 tsp Lalvin 1116, added 2 oz of raisins. 2 cups organic sugar. Its been sitting in a temp controlled wine room(72 F) for 2 days now with no activity. I did not rehydrate the yeast(i never do)just incase anyone ask. What can i do...

    Yes, correct, i believe it was my stance while corking, bottom of bottles moving just a bit while pulling down a hand corker. i would hate to have a bottle explode on me while corking, i have had a bottle pop a cork while it was on top a refrigerator at 3 in the morning. that was fun. :)...

    i use the same corker in this picture. i re-corked 3 of them today and it turned out a little better, still not like they normally do. I did notice one of the red rubber pieces fell off one of the small metal arms, found it and replaced it. it came with 2 extras in the bag. Thank you

    The corks are #8 Straight Corks from homebrewohio.com (MS-022217-005). this is first time i have had a problem with these corks. I will be bottling in another week or so, if same problem i will contact them. Thanks everyone.
