    Ok I got it now I was reading it from the bottom Lol Makes sense now As the sugar decreases alcohol increases and hydrometer sinks because the liquid is not quite as dense because sugar is being depleted Thanks a lot Very good teacher

    wine is in carboy 7 days ago it was 1.100 SG Now it is 2 tick marks shy of the 90 above the 1.100 I can still smell yeast and co2 Wife says it doesn’t taste the wine and said she couldn’t detect any alcohol

    Lol my bad No idea how I managed to read it so wrong I checked it again It’s 1.100 nice yeast smell and quite the tingle in my nose when I sniffed it Alot of sediment on bottom It’s the pulp from the grapes I pressed it thru a cheese cloth Looks like bottom 4 inches

    Actually there are Frontenac grapes not harvested The vines s were near the house and buyer didn’t want them as the vines were in poor shape. I checked the brix It’s at 25. My friend is going to show me the basics on wine maki g with these grapes
