I agree the RJS winery series is a better Carmenere. I just ordered the Cellar Craft Showcase Carmenere and looking forward to making it and seeing how that turns out.

I have made several Gurwurtz kits - WE selection, WE eclipse I have also made the RNJ Cru Platinum Riesling Traminer. I have made all the kits dry, even though some of them have f-paks. I think for spiciness - the WE selection takes the cake. However, the eclipse kit is much smoother...

I would say its worth a try to ferment it. I have had two kits that arrived leaking and they turned out good - though it was winter time. Worst thing that can happen is you dump it out later instead of now! Josh

We've made the Apple, Cherry and the Pear and have tasted some of the others. We like the pear the best. The apple is pretty good though, and on par with many store bought brands. Josh

I just got an all grape pak, heres a picture of the bag inside the package. It has a lot of liquids in it, not at all like the jelly you get from other kits. Has some stems, skins, and seeds. Adding it to a Meglioli Nebbiolo kit I just got, looking forward to seeing how itturns out.
