    Half Bottles?

I use them. Usually 4 per batch. Keeps me from opening a 750 only to find out it's not ready. I also seem to end up with not quit a full bottle when bottling. Perfect for a 375.

WineXpert Island Mist Peach Apricot Chardonay

Just finished this kit a month ago. I boosted the alc. to 10%. Followed the kit to the letter except for: adding a pack of white grape concentrate and sugared up to about 1.080. It did just fine. I think I could have upped the alc. to 12%.

    Cleaning labels off bottles

I use a razor blade in a holder. Then I use a tasting cork to plug bottle, apply WD40 to a paper towel to remove any remaining glue. I wash the WD40 off with liquid hand soap and remove cork. I like the tasting cork because it makes cleaning the inside much easier at bottling time. Takes me...

Just need some moral support! ;(

I give family wine with the understanding that they give me honest feed back. If they don't care for it, tell me why. This way I can improve it. Fortunately they are really kind and are really good at telling me why they liked or disliked it. This has helped me make better wine, and I keep notes...
