    Okay. I'm having trouble here. I mix a batch of 2 gallons of grape juice. 20 lbs of sugar and topped of with hot water to mix and dissolve. Maxing 5 gallons. Added my tannin, citric acid ann Campden tablets. Let it cool and pitched my yeast. Waited 5 day for it to settle down. Transferred it...

    Did you get like a spinach smell to yours. I pick this a.m. Steeping now but the water is more green then yellow. I only used the head with no stems. What's up with that? From the not-so-Highborne.

    What about this turbo yeast? And should the yeast be allowed to breath during the primary fermentation? I know some who just cover it with a towel and lock it during secondary. I have also head people air lock it from the start. What's the best course here? From the not-so-Highborne.
