Has anyone made a MM kit that comes with yeast other than EC-1118? I've made five and all come with the same yeast. I'm not compaining, just curious. I would imagine it is used because it will ferment dry consistantly. All mine have been reds. Pal

Anybody using these? I bought some last week and used one in a AJ Cab Sauv I started on 1/15/09. The package says to use two per 5-6 gallon batch with a minium contact time of four months. I only used oneas I used the oak that came with the kit. I plan on using them on a MM VN Zin as well...

Does anyone use the labels that come with the kits? I have not a I'm afraid hey won't come off.
