    Hello! DH made a 5 gal. batch of wine using blackberry syrup, 12 oz can Welch's frozen grape juice concentrate, and 22.5 cups sugar. The wine is good, but too sweet for him. He would like to know if he eliminates the Welch's, would the resulting wine be semi-sweet? Thank you dotb

    Hello again This time DH wants to make blackberry wine using 2 quart bottles of what is labeled "blackberry syrup" which he found at a local market. The label says it is all natural, no additives, just blackberries and sugar. Will this make 5 gallons? How does one know how much more...

    Thanks for the answers! (the peach nectar has sugar in it,but no preservatives. it's ready to drink...like buying a can of apricot nectar at the grocery store...except it's natural w/o all the added chemicals.)
