    Differences in Blush wine

    Is there much taste difference between white Grenache Blush and a Zinfandel Blush? I am ready to make another rose wine. I don't know whether to make the Heron Bay kit again or try the RJ Spagnols. Thanks

    Number of Yeast Packets in a Kit

    Bought a couple of kits the other day, a chardonnay that has one yeast packet, and a port kit that has two. I was wondering why some kits have more packets than others and is it possible to add too many packets? Thanks Doug.

    I will be ready to bottle my first batch of red wine in the next 7-10 days. I have made batches of white and blush wines and filtered them before bottling to get the "polished" finish, and was wondering if there would be any noticeable advantage in filtering a red wine? Thanks Doug

    Heron Bay HB Grenache Blush

    I am ready to bottle a HB Grenache Blush. When tasting, I find it kind of flat and boring, very little body and very dry. I added the sweet reserve as per instruction but I can hardly tell it is there. Any suggestions for improvement? Thanks.
