Just wondering if anyone knows who sweet the Chardonnay/Semillon kit from Prestige is or the Shiraz or Merlot kit is from Harvest Selection?

Hi there....can anyone tell me how the sweetness is on Harvest selections on the Shiraz or Merlot kits and lastly on the Prestige kit of a Chardonnay/Semillon blend? Finally if anyone can answer what inexpensive wine kits are out there with a sweetness between 2-3?

Thanks, the instructions say 0.998 or lower, however I know the last kit I made the SG stopped at 1.000 (it was a different type of kit) I was waiting extra days to see if it would move.....

Just wondered if specific gravity of 1.000 is ok reading to transfer wine to carboy for 2nd fermentation? thanks!

thanks! I tasted it as I added it, I found 1/4 of the Fpac was sufficient! sure glad I asked prior to adding the whole thing....5 sure is sweet!

funny I was thinking the same thing! curious if you know where I can access a site? that can tell me the flavors in a wine kit? I was trying to access Cellar Master sites for indications of what is in these kits? any ideas?

Hi anyone? this is my second batch of wine...unlike the first one, my reading on primary fermentation has seemed to stop at 1.000 when instructions say 0.998 or lower....can I transfer now? my 2 weeks were up Friday.

Yes, the instructions did say it, however, because the bag was not marked other than "TST40" on it, I presumed it was something I was going to have to add at a later time. If some ingredients are optional, then the package should be labeled properly if not the instructions in order to identify...
