    Other Crazy starting figures...

    I started an Advintage Cab/Syrah today. Added 500g of rasins and about 12oz extra water (to compensate for the grapes). Took several readings and kept getting an SG reading of 1.095 @74degF. Waited 6 hrs, stirred the must gently to make sure I churned things up to get rid of any stratfication...

    WineXpert How old is this Chamlaise?

    I picked this up from my homebrew, knowing it has been around for a while. He gave me a great deal to get it out of his store but going to the Winexpert it is no longer being made. Soooo how old is this dog? Also, anyone know what is in this kit?

    WineXpert Trying to get a "quick drinker" going..

    I picked up a VR Chard today and wonder if it needs any tweaking (I have some golden raisins) or should I leave it alone. I want a wine Fingal can enjoy as her "evening, sitting in the backyard with some cheese" glass of wine, without having age for very long.

    WineXpert I think my first wine is kaput.....

    I just transferred my WE Merlot for the final clearing before bottling and a taste test was not good. I didn't taste any alcohol or "bite"..just a musty grapey flavor.
