  • Lloyd, I add glycerin virtually anytime prior to bottling. I don't consider it an additive for flavoring even though it is sweet.

    Costa Rica on the coast - I'm assuming you are speaking Pacific. Pretty much the same temp year round - hot and humid. I live in the Centrak Valley at about 4000 elevation. About like our Maryland spring and fall weather year round. Best to check some Google real estate sites for specifics.
    I wanted to ask you. At what stage in the process do you add the glycerin?
    Also I would like to Visit Costa Rica. But I don't know much about the coast and the ocean temperature in Feb or March. is there a good web page where I could find out more info?
