Just picked up this kit today...comes with 2 packs of yeast, EC-1118 and RC 212, 60g medium french oak chips....looking forward to getting this one going!
Hey Joe, Where do you get those containers to hold tour carboys? What's the dimensions? Been lugging mine around by holding bottom and around neck for the last 25 years...might be pushing my luck!
Can't comment on the Eclipse kits....I've yet to make one, but I can tell you that all of the WE LE's I have made have been very good. Aging is the key!

I'm sure you will be fine! Just bottled 2 batches of these the last couple weeks....I agree these are very good wines and will only get better. :ib

Running wine through copper pipe is not the same as drinking water (neutral PH) wine has different PH levels that will react with copper. Don't know anything about Copper sulfate, maybe some one else can chime in.

They treat me pretty good there!!....give them lots of business! :h :ib
Now I just have to wait another couple months to try, was just bottled end of Oct...want to age it 3 months, should give me better idea of where it's headed!

I'm interested in making the Eclipse Forza, so I went to my LHBS and they gave me a 750ml bottle to sample before I buy the kit, so yes your local LHBS would be the place to try!
Good Luck!
I've bottled 1000's of bottles of wine over the years and never had a problem with spoilage, have aged them from 6months to 4 years. I have never used k-meta to sterilize, just rinse them good right after drinking put them in a case lined with paper towels upside down to dry. I will check before...
