    What next- finished fermenting

    As per title, finished fermenting strawberry wine from fruit. Sg readings have been 0.992 for last 3 days. Do I need to stabilise it? What should I use? Seen different chemicals mentioned and some sites just say use 1 campden tablet...

    How spooky- I was going to post exactly same question. No need to now... And if you don't mind me hijacking the thread I have a question .. My readings give 14.4 % alcohol- is this too high or normal for a fruit wine?

    Hi. I'm from the uk, so you may not know the kit but it's a Young's. I must admit I didn't keep readings of any sort as I thought it would be straight forward. I have a habit of starting things without reading about it first! I'll carry on with instructions on packet and see what happens...
