WHen I was racking I was very concerned about the cloudy type sediment. Oh well, it should come out even better next time.
How long do I have to still do this without causing problems.
I think I would rather add the wine at this point but there wont be any stores open that I can think of.
On this last racking have about 3 litre of space left in the carboy, I didnt get everything out of the carboy it was in because all the sediment was getting stirred up. I was pretty careful too.
What should I do? It says to top off with water or wine of a similar type but I am unsure of how...
The instructions on my kit has me degassing when it is in the carboy, and to do that I must stir. But how do I get the stirring spoon in there or is there something I am missing.
I just started the primary so I have time to figure it out!
How about the difference between the plastic carboy and one of those bottles from a water bubbler? Are they the same?
