An apple cider and a German Rauchbier..... I try to always have my tiny carboys rolling with experiments :) I have 2 empty right now. Just bottled a dragons blood and spiced cider. Any suggestions for my next batch?
I degassed mine before bottling too. It was one of my first wines and did not know a lot... I still don't? :) I didn't back sweeten but it should have been. I'll do this again but I won't let it get so dry and I'll sweeten.
Lol... My husband told me today how thankful he was for all that I do. I had to laugh because I just bottled two beer batches and a concord wine.....sounds suspicious! He said I am the maker of beer so how could he not be thankful :)
Thanks! Half the fpack and sugar to raise sg sounds like way to go. Checked my kit and the fsg is suppose to be 1.015 to 1.020! So sweet... I am starting it tomorrow :)
Hi all! I picked up an orchard breezing lime kit for pretty cheap. I haven't made a lot of kits, mostly homemade, but I have made lots of beer kits. I have read that it will come out sweet and low abv. I would like to up the abv and have it come out medium dry. Any suggestions? Thanks!
