I have heard that some companies add a pack of 'mist booster' to these kits to make the alcohol higher. I was wondering what else you could add to them instead of this product.

Went to a wine tasting/pairing in Moncton with the crew from RJS. They had all the new wines from the RQ. They were all very good, didn't have one there that I did not enjoy.

We have the bags of 30, but we thought it would be more fun to let people choose different colours and mix and match them as they please. But its becoming more a hassle for us than fun for them lol. :)

Usually with the RJS Cellar Classics, all the ones that I have done, you rack and add your Clearing and Stabilizing at day 14 and let it sit until day 42 I think is what it says. There isn't a secoundary racking those kits.

The Strawberry Margarita is excellent in a blender with ice, fresh strawberries, and cool whip.

You can get the Italian Barolo kit in a Grand Cru international, it comes with dryed grape skins too. It's a really big seller here, amazing wine for the price ($79.99 canadian)

It wont harm the wine to add another clearing agent. But stir it in gently so you don't move any of the sediment on the bottom.

The Strawberry Margarita is really good, in a blender with some ice. If you don't have the ice in it, it's very sweet and hard to drink. The Mojito is good if you like Mojito that you would buy in a liquor store, taste just like it. I've never heard of adding two yeast packs to speed up the...

Just wanted to let everybody know that Island Mist will be releasing more Twisted Mist (the strawberry margarita and mojito) kits by the end of the month. They will also be adding another yeast pack to help clearing and having the S.G where it should be on the right day.

I know we've been able to have a FOP for at least 5 years. I know NS is way behind, but I head from a rep. that there a is a few places in Halifax that do the FOP and always take the fine because they make a lot of money by doing it. I hope they leagalize it soon there.
