Hey all
Trying my hand at white wine from fresh grapes picked, pressed and added campden tablet to it covered with towel for 24 hrs went to pitch yeast and it is brown like shoe polish brown lol do I need to pitch it? It's just 1 gal so not out alot! Any help is greatly appreciated!
Just started a 2 gal batch yesterday in a 3 gal fastferment! Really excited to try the fastferment! He was my satrting stats

Will be using the premier cuvee yeast by red star. What does everyone else use and what have you had success and failure with for yeast?
We have been to Blue Jacket and Davenport in that area and like both! We have picked grapes at Blue Jacket! I talked to one here close to us yesterday and will be putting a plan together shortly. What do you know about the Noriet Grape?
Thanks for replying! I have been considering LeCresent for a white and havn't settled on a red yet. Would like to start 50 plants or so of each to start and see w how that goes.
