  • Hi Bill,
    Just for the record I have been using 3 1/2 lbs per gallon for strawberry and it is far from weak or flat. Some here believe that you cant use enough fruit to make wine. If you want strawberry syrup with alcohol use 6 lbs per gallon as suggested. Too strong a flavor for my tastes. It is all about making wine you like not award winning wines, at least for most of us. Do your own thing is all I am saying.:r
