I'm doing a Lodi Ranch Cab and decided to wait until it was ready to bulk age before adding the cubes. I'm going to leave them 8 weeks minimum, testing periodically.

I started this kit about two weeks ago. I added the grape pack directly to the juice (a mistake, won't do that again). My SG after mixing was 1.100.

I have the very good fortune of being close enough to labelpeelers that gas is less than shipping on anything. I've dealt with them almost exclusively for beer ingredients for a few years and now the same for winemaking. Their customer service is excellent and for me, the price can't be beat...

Thanks guys. I added 2.5 ozs French med toast plus cubes. I expect this will turn out at least as good as the cheap wine I'm used to drinking.
