In the Online Catalog menu, click on "Gifts" under the "Miscellaneous" column. The following item shows up.

"Wine Cellar Express - Wood Grain"

"Softens young tannic wines to velvety smooth wine in 30 minutes."

Anyone tried this? How is it used? Is it an aging shortcut?

It is basically a "super ager". I am not sure exactly how it work, but the base is a 1 pound magnet and it has an effect on the ions in the wine. The Wine Cellar Express only works on reds and works best on the higher tannic ones.

I have had one for several years and found it works best on young commercial wines. It has never been a fast mover and I am just tired of having them take up shelf space. I have 3 left and no reasonable offer will be refused.

Thanks George. My post title was worded poorly, I didn't mean to sound critical.

Might givea "super ager"a try, however I don't drink young commercial wines much any more. Mainly drink young homemade wines. How does it work on them?
