I acquired about 17 of these approx 350 ml bottles made from recycled glass. I have been keeping them in store for a batch of wine. Color of these look to be a jade color. The Inside of the neck seemed to be tapered and become more narrow down from the top of the bottle.

I have included a couple of photos below.

Here are my questions:

Would using bottles from recycled glass be any issue when making wine?
My concern here is if there are any harmful materials the glass is made of that could leach into wine.

The inside neck size is more narrow than a #8 cork can handle. At what inside diameter would a #7 cork cover?

May the internal neck tapered might this cause a problem in getting the cork to seal?

After a good cleaning I would not be afraid to use them if I could find the correct cork. I'm not sure what that would be. I personally would not use them because stacking them in my racks would be an issue. I have a few odd 375 ml bottles I've put extra wine in that the carboy wouldn't hold but that's it.
