Oh. And my brother in law just bought a Forza kit for me to make for him. Starting that this week.

Nero d Avola, Amarone, Eclipse old vine zinfandel, Eclipse cabernet, LE pino noir.. I've aged them a year or 2. Have both bulk and bottle aged. Really not too impressed. I've pretty much decided to buy bottles of reds I like and make whites for the spring /summer.

I really like all of the WE white kits. Not too pleased with any red kit I've made. disappointing.

How is this coming along for you? I stabilized mine on 2/2.. tastes really good even at this stage..

If the bottles are filled too much, the corks will not go in far enough.

Oh, and BTW, Labelpeelers is a great company. Very customer friendly. I recommend them to everyone.

Just finished bottling mine... Tastes great now. Kinda like an off dry riesling with a hint of gewurztraminer. Its going to be a great pool side summer wine, if it ever gets warm here!

I agree ^^^^. I had a lot of "extra" wine when i needed to add the F-pack. If you run short, maybe you could add a sweet white zinfandel. The cab franc ice wine is a slightly darker red than a white zin.

Mine is due to arrive today.. That is if FedEx will make it through the foot of snow we got overnight. I'm really looking forward to making this one.

I fill the bottle with nearly boiling water. Then I use a green scotch brite with a bit of glass cooktop cleaner.. comes rite off.
