    Welchs White Grape Peach help

Thanks for the advise. I threw the raisins (15oz box)in a small colander and poured some hot water over them, then kind of diced them with a sanitized pair of kitchen shears. Then I tossed them in, I will pull them out when I rack to secondary.

    Welchs White Grape Peach help

I have made a few batch's of welches white grape peach wine. I generally follow the recipe found here but I use the bottled juice instead of frozen concentrate. I have always got rave reviews from this wine. I am currently getting ready to make a 3 gal batch (the only currently empty carboy)...

    Chocolate Strawberry Port

Its ranging in the mid 70's, course its been 100+ most of the week, so there isn't much relief even on the cold basement floor. I also started with a pretty strong batch of yeast so it started fermenting pretty quickly.

Not sure what size the pot is there are several large soup kettles to choose from, but I know they will fit in my utility sink. I was thinking of setting the pot in the sink, with some Ice, Water and a Bit of Salt. Kind of like making ice cream. Also my secret for keeping a keg cold back in...

    Info on Carboy Purchase

Just a note you want 6 gallon carboys for wine. Most kits make 6 gallons not 5. 2 is more convenient than 1 but I find that I also end up making more wine not keeping a empty sitting around for racking so I usually do the carboy -- bucket -- back to clean carboy thing

    My Father twisted my arm.

So the other day my dad stopped by and piked up my mail which included a catalog from Northern Brewers. Now he has decided that I should brew him a batch of beer. With all my wine stuff I believe I have most everything covered. I also have a few cases of beer bottles, capper, and caps. My...

    Spiders

I worked in one of the worlds largest corn/soybean processing facilities. There were Rats that made house cats look small. The rats actually would stand their ground to a human. The company would turn ferrets loose in the plant yearly to drive out the rats/mice. When the rats were gone the...

    Chocolate Strawberry Port

I just started a raspberry version yesterday , literally just added pectic enzyme a few minutes ago. With 7 lbs of raspberrys I have a little over 4 gallons in my primary so you should be pretty close as strawberrys are bigger and you have a lot twice as many

    Lots of Foam

get a gallon of the cheapo rossi wine. It comes in a glass gallon jug and is almost as cheap as the empty glass jug from the wine store. At least you get the wine to drink
